Fraunhofer Institute of Technology confirms Nobelclean-Diamonding

Fraunhofer Institute verified the Diamonding technology upon request of Lürssen shipyard and confirms the sustainability of our system. The Fraunhofer Institute concluded:
" The tests made after lacquer treatment Nobelclean shows better results from the conventional technologies for lacquer treatment." And naturally, because Diamonding can not be compared to such technologies. Because Diamonding works differently – better.

Particularly sealing on new lacquer surface with Nobelclean technology has huge effect. Quote of the Fraunhofer Institute conclusion: "A sealing of lacquer surface with Nobelclean products showed significant improvement in test results after an outdoor QUV test. The rates of gloss shine and ∆E-rates of the sealed surface after the outdoor Q.U.V test are significantly better than those without sealing. Grand Assignment

This summer Nobeclean technicians made a 60-meter luxury yacht shiny again. Matt patches now shine again with a new gloss. Our team worked hard for two weeks but can be proud with the result.

The ship was very matt and actually had to be coated with new lacquer. But we convinced the client with a single test work and received the assignment for Diamonding on the entire ship. The aim was to postpone the new painting with 1-2 years in order to develop an appropriate slot in the meantime and find the suitable price for a new painting.

Of course, it was not necessary the mega-yacht to come out of the water as we work on water with floating rafts and have no fear of heights.

Nobelclean applies to all sizes

Along with business jets and propeller machines, we can work on the largest aircrafts. Last year our team was called at AMAC Aerospace, Basel, there we found Business Boeing size 2, the longer edition. With its 39.8 meters, BBJ2 is about 6 meters longer than the common and yet very long edition. We tested the lacquer surface and gave out our expert resume whether the aircraft needed just Diamonding or completely new lacquer coating. As there was not a single shiny spot, the conclusion was that the entire lacquer surface was worn out.

As usual, we offered a test job and then experimentally applied Diamonding on the luggage compartment door and the turbine. In the course of one-year sustainability of Diamonding result was observed. After we have been assigned to complete the job, the BBJ2 lacquer surface became optically new. The captain and the first remained impressed.

Today the machine is regularly treated and it still looks like new, and will remain so. Nobelclean Diamonding technology relies on long-lasting effect through timesaving ecological and economic aftercare. While BBJ2 is handled and maintained by Nobelclean system, it will forever remain a shiny jewel.
